I heard about Tisell a year ago from Broke & Bespoke. I was intrigued by the flieger design and went to the site to check it out. After looking at the selection, I was a little hesitant about the site but the watches truly looked amazing and the price point is perfect! I quickly fell in love with this hand-winding moonphase. From the blued hands and saphire chrystal to the beautiful winding sun and moon movement, how could you not love it?
I mulled it over for a few months and finally decided to pull the plug a few months back. Upon arrival the watch was beautiful and functioned wonderfully. The leather is as expected for a $155 watch. I wound up the watch and tested it out for a few days. I loved it!
A few weeks ago, I noticed the watch stopped winding so I gave it a few love taps and it was fine. A few minutes later the watch completely gave out. Now granted, it could be user error. This is my first hand-winding watch, so I suppose I could have wound it too tight. Nevertheless, I am going to take it to a shop to get it looked at soon and will keep everyone updated on the process.
For the review, I would say the watch look amazing and functions perfectly, while it was still functioning. I truly hope that the issue can be fixed and will report back. For now, enjoy the photos. Also, go check out the full Tisell line and see what you think.
