Teach a Man to Fish…

The fiancé and I recently took a trip up to the lake house in Arkansas with a few friends of ours. Before the trip, Wm. Lamb & Son sent me one of their new fishing shirts and a pair of shorts to take a look at and what better way to put them to the test than with a rod and reel in hand at the lake?

The Cache Creek fishing shirt is nice and light. I like the spruce plaid pattern of the shirt, a lot of fishing shirts are very bland colors that don’t necessarily please the eye. William added a nice touch with the western yoke and pearl snaps buttons. This Texas boy felt very at home when wearing it, and it even took me back to my young cowboy days.

The Cache Creek shorts are built similar to a pair of Patagonia Stand Up shorts. They are apart of the collection William teamed up with Southern Proper on and features original artwork by the artist himself in the pocket lining. The shorts are made of 100% cotton canvas and sport a 5 1/2 inch inseam. There is even an extra pocket to hold your beverage of choice when reeling in that monster fish.

Now did the whole ensemble help me reel in anything? I can’t say… but at least I looked good while doing it.
