OUTDOOR WEDDINGS

Everyone know thats Spring and Summer is the primetime for weddings. When attending an outdoor wedding, I typically dress more on the comfortable side than dressy, only for the fact that I will be in a better mood at the wedding and more willing to cut a rug if I am comfortable and cool than hot (temperature-wise) and the best dressed.

For this particular wedding, I chose to pair a light-weight cotton shirt ¬†from J.Crew Factory (similar) with a hopsack blazer (the ladies at SoPro nailed this one) and a knit tie, of course. The shirt is the perfect fit for me, everything is exactly as it should be. Being from Factory, I was actually shocked when I tried it on that it fit so well. The blazer is light enough to survive the ceremony, but for Texas may be too much for a ton of direct sunlight. It doesn’t matter too much, though, because it will remain on the back of your chair while you are out on the dance floor making all the ladies swoon anyway.

I chose to go with my new favorite pair of pants, the Stone 2.0 Levi’s 501s from Sid. I had these tailored to allow enough room in the thigh and taper down ever so slightly to the ankle, where they stop to allow for breathability. one must also goes sans socks to remain sane in the heat as well. The tassel loafers add some extra flair to other wise subdued outfit.

Take a look and enjoy. Like the outfit? Leave a comment. Don’t like something about it? Leave a comment and let me know what you would do differently!
